flags and knitting patterns

Blah! knitting patterns! I unravelled a knit tank top I've had for years. It never quite fit right, but I love the yarn. So, I decided I would make it into something else. It's definitely something else! I found this really awesome pattern online, but I can't get the gauge right. Of course, I can't ever do anything exactly by the directions either.....we'll see how this turns out.

We cut out the material for the "Sever" flags tonight too. Hopefully I'll find some time to finish those this week.
